My name is Chloe O’Brien, and I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy practitioner offering services online.

Going through life we come face to face with its inevitable changes. Changes to our relationships with family, friends, our environment, and our routine, all effecting changes within ourselves. Change can be a great thing; however, it can often be a source of struggle at times. When the change needed is a struggle, it can feel tough, as though we are stuck or unable to focus on what is needed.

With professional help and the correct support, effort and attention on thought patterns, behaviours and habits needed to create positive change is possible, increasing self confidence in the process.

Working together, I will assist and guide you, working with your mind and thought processes to understand and recognise the areas where change will be most beneficial. Together we will support positive changes and steps needed in your progress to reach your aspirations and goals. Navigating changes in life this way supports you by helping build conscious awareness of mind, bringing autonomy and control back in your life.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Clinical hypnotherapy uses hypnosis in conjunction with psychotherapy to treat and alleviate a wide range of physical and psychological ailments.

It is a powerful solution-focused talking therapy that is also quiet and calming. Hypnosis permits clients to experience a heightened state of awareness, also known as a ‘trance-like’ condition. You feel very relaxed and focused in this state, and you can access your unconscious thoughts and be receptive to positive suggestions to improve your life.

Chloe is a great therapist, compassionate, flexible yet focused, and clearly an expert in her field. I appreciated how she structured our sessions, helping me to organise my thoughts and agree on priorities of what to work on.

Chloe brought various techniques into the sessions and would consider different approaches to problems between sessions.

The balance of homework activities were good and the degree of challenge, raised step by step, enabled me to make progress without being overloaded with too much to tackle at one time.
